Not sure if God is real?
I would suggest this:

- Ask Him to make Himself real to you. He hears you!
- Read the bible anyway, and see if God reaches your heart.
- Also, you might want to read a book by Lee Strobel ("A case for Christ").
He tried to disprove the bible, and in the end chose to give his life to Christ.
Do you believe in God but aren't ready to commit your life to Him?

Why?
Is it the "rules" you have to follow? Is it the music you might stop listening to? Is it the friends you might lose? The only true friend is the one you find in Christ. All of the things of this world, no matter how good they make you feel, will lose their appeal. Do you ever notice how the very wealthy people who have everything end up doing drugs? Why? The answer is simple: There is not a thing or person in this world that will fill the void in your heart. Only God can do that. That is why some of the poorest people on earth have a peace that most others will never have,

You can finally be you... there is no need to put up any more acts for anyone. You are accepted just the way you are. Choosing Jesus does not mean that you will become a hermits living a rigid dull life. On the contrary. Christians are full of life and filled with the love of God, and being around other Christians will uplift you as well!

Lastly but most importantly, you must TRUST in Jesus Christ to forgive you for your sins if you want to be in heaven for eternity.
